- ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION
Students who wish to participate in campus placements must complete and submit their Students’ Data Sheet using the prescribed format provided by the Department of Training and Placement Cell. Those who do not wish to be considered for placements are advised not to register. Each student can receive a maximum of two job offers; however, those already placed have the opportunity to apply for positions with their “Dream Company.” Once a student secures a job offer from their dream company, they are ineligible to participate in further campus recruitment.
Students who have four or more course backlogs are not permitted to register for placement. The final eligibility criteria set by visiting companies will be strictly adhered to. Eligible students are required to attend all training programs and workshops organized by the department. The department’s placement coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for students throughout the placement process.
During induction, students are expected to initiate applications for passport and PAN cards. Occasionally, students may be directed to participate in pooled campus placement drives hosted by other colleges. It is essential for students to inform their parents in advance about the placement process, venue, and timings.
- DRESS CODE
Students must adhere to a formal dress code during company interactions, which prohibits the following items: printed T-shirts, un-collared T-shirts, shorts, jeans, untucked shirts, and chappals/flip-flops.
- PLACEMENT PROCESS
It is the student’s duty to monitor the placement and department notice boards for announcements, notices, updated information, shortlisted names, etc.
- JOB OFFERS
Students must submit their offer letter to the placement office. In the event of receiving a second job offer, students are required to submit a letter of regret to the first company and a letter of acceptance to the second. If a student decides to withdraw their acceptance, they must promptly notify the company. The college bears no responsibility for issues arising from company decisions.
