Special Screening and Awareness Program on “Mann Ki Baat”
NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy organized a Special Screening and Awareness Program on “Mann Ki Baat” on 30-03-2026 in the Seminar Hall, where students watched the 132nd episode by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and gained awareness on national initiatives. The Chief Guests, Ch. Bharath Reddy Garu and Sri A. Madan Sai Reddy Garu, delivered motivating speeches encouraging patriotism, civic sense and active participation in nation-building activities. A quiz competition and recognition of active students were conducted.
Career Excellence Program: Skills, Opportunities & Global Pathways
Placement Cell of Swathi College of Pharmacy successfully organized the “Career Excellence Program: Skills, Opportunities & Global Pathways” on 18th March 2026. The session was delivered by Mr. Jacob Nicholas, Director – Training & Programs, ACNOVA, who provided valuable insights into career development, employability skills, and global opportunities for Pharm.D students. He also demonstrated emergency response techniques for heart patients and trained students in patient counselling, drug dispensing, and professional communication.
Ramadan Festival Celebrations
NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy organized Ramadan Festival Celebrations on 18-03-2026 promoting values of peace, unity, and compassion with active participation from students and faculty.
The programme included cultural activities, preparation and distribution of biryani and kheer, along with Mehendi and Rangoli competitions, creating a festive atmosphere. Prizes were awarded to winners, and the event concluded successfully, spreading awareness about the significance and values of Ramadan.

NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy organized Ugadhi Festival Celebrations on 18-03-2026 promoting Telugu culture and traditions with active participation from students and faculty. The event included preparation of Ugadhi chutney, cultural performances, and competitions like Mehendi and Rangoli, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere. World Consumer Rights Day
NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy organized an awareness programme on World Consumer Rights Day on 14-03-2026 to create awareness among students about consumer rights and responsibilities. The session was delivered by Hari Krishna Reddy, District Secretary, Consumer Rights Council; Ashwaq Hassan, District President, Consumer Rights Council; Dr. Mahender Reddy, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat; Nageswara Rao, CEO, SETNEL; and B. International Women’s Day Celebrations
Women Empowerment Cell (WEC), in association with the NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy, organized the International Women’s Day Celebration on 8th March 2026 to recognize the achievements and contributions of women, with faculty delivering motivational speeches on women’s empowerment, education, and leadership. Girl students actively participated by presenting skits highlighting women’s rights, safety, and social issues, making the program inspiring and meaningful with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
National Pharmacy Education Day – Pharma Anveshan 2026
Swathi College of Pharmacy organized National Pharmacy Education Day – Pharma Anveshan 2026 on 06 March 2026 in association with IIC, NSS Unit and IQAC. The programme highlighted the theme “Future Pharma Ecosystem” and included informative speeches emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and the evolving role of pharmacists.
Pool Campus Recruitment Drive by Apollo Hospitals
A Pool Campus Drive was conducted at Swathi College of Pharmacy, Nellore, in association with Apollo Hospitals. The program was organized by the Placement Cell on 05-03-2026 for Pharmacist and Clinical Pharmacist positions. A total of 92 students (B.Pharm and Pharm.D) participated in the recruitment process, and finally 18 students were selected, including 03 as Clinical Pharmacists (Pharm.D) and 15 as Pharmacists (B.Pharm) for the Nellore and Hyderabad locations.
Farewell Party: 2022–2026 Batch
Swathi College of Pharmacy organized a farewell party for the 2022–2026 batch on 02-03-2026 at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, hosted by the 2023–2027 batch. Educational Visit to the District Science Centre in connection with the celebration of National Science Day
NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy successfully organized an “Educational visit to the District Science Centre”, located at Chemudugunta Village, Venkatachalam Mandal, SPSR Nellore District, on 28-02-2025 in celebration of National Science Day. The program was conducted for I and IV-Year Pharm.D students with the objective of promoting scientific awareness and encouraging a spirit of innovation among budding pharmacy professionals.
Participation in Study Abroad Expo 2026 for Overseas Education Guidance
Students of Swathi College of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy IV Year and Pharm.D V & VI Year) participated in the Study Abroad Expo 2026 organized by Study Connect, Nellore, on 28-12-2026. The program offered guidance on free education and overseas study opportunities, with the Placement Cell and Mr. K. Sunil Kumar, Placement & Training Officer, supervising the students throughout.

Participation of SCPN NSS Volunteers in IDYEP 2025–2026, Srikakulam
Three NSS volunteers from Swathi College of Pharmacy participated in the Inter District Youth Exchange Program (IDYEP) 2025–2026 at Srikakulam, organized by Mera Yuva Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports from 17th to 21st February 2026. They engaged in cultural exchange, visited local industries and heritage sites, attended communication classes, participated in campfire activities, and won prizes in the quiz competition.
Railway Safety & Security Awareness Campaign
NSS Unit of Swathi College of Pharmacy conducted a “Railway Safety & Security Awareness Campaign” in collaboration with RPF, Gudur, on 21-02-2026 at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium. The programme aimed to educate students on railway safety, security measures, and accident prevention. Resource persons Mr. H.L. Gurjar (Inspector) and Mr. C.K.N. Rao (ASI) addressed student queries, screened awareness videos on theft and safety, and highlighted responsible behaviour and public safety.
Building a Safe & Inclusive Workplace – Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH)
POSH Awareness Program titled “Building a Safe & Inclusive Workplace – Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH)” was organized on 18-02-2026 by the Internal Complaint Committee in association with the Women Empowerment Cell at Swathi College of Pharmacy. Dr. S. Nivedhitha, Principal, delivered an insightful address on the importance of a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace and POSH guidelines. Faculty members of Swathi Educational Institutions actively participated, making the program informative and impactful in promoting workplace safety and gender sensitization.
International Conference on “Lifestyle Medicine"
Swathi College of Pharmacy successfully organized the International Conference on “Lifestyle Medicine: Transforming Health Through Evidence-Based Practices” on 13–02–2026 and 14–02–2026 at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, SCP Campus, focusing on the role of lifestyle modifications in preventing and managing chronic diseases. The two-day event featured eminent national and international speakers, interactive scientific sessions, and poster presentations, concluding successfully with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback.

Mega Free Cataract Surgery and Eye Check-up Camp
Mega Free Cataract Surgery and Eye Check-up Camp was conducted from 02-11-2025 to 10-11-2025, in collaboration with Nellore District Blindness Control Society and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, with the generous support of Sri. Katamreddy Prasad Reddy & Smt. Katamreddy Sobha Reddy, USA, providing free eye screening, cataract surgeries, medicines, and spectacles to the community. The program reflected Swathi College of Pharmacy’s strong commitment to social responsibility and community health.
Educational visit to Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota
Students of Swathi College of Pharmacy visited SDSC, Sriharikota, on 02-11-2025 and witnessed the live launch of ISRO’s LVM3-M5 “Bahubali,” gaining insight into India’s space technology achievements.

Swathi College of Pharmacy successfully observed the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week from 17th to 23rd September 2025.
