Grievance Redressal Committee
Grievance Redressal System is a vital part of any administration. It is the responsibility of the College Administration to provide a secure and contented environment to all its Staff and Students. The Grievance Redressal Committee has been formed in the College as per the university guidelines to redress the grievances of both the staff and the students. Since the inception of the college, the Committee has been under the direct purview of the Principal.
The grievances received by the Principal are forwarded to the concerned Committee members who look in to the problems depending upon the seriousness of the issue.
The Committee has been continuously striving to take the best efforts possible to create a harmonious and conducive atmosphere to everyone in question.
Objective:
- To ensure prompt and effective redressal of grievances.
- To maintain a fair, impartial, and consistent redressal process, proportionate to the gravity of the misconduct.
Grievance Redressal Procedure:
Our grievance redressal procedure follows a structured five-step process:
- Step 1 – Informal Approach:Initial attempts to resolve the grievance informally.
- Step 2 – Formal Meeting:A formal meeting with the student/employee to discuss the grievance.
- Step 3 – Grievance Investigation:A thorough investigation of the grievance.
- Step 4 – Grievance Outcome:Determination and communication of the outcome.
- Step 5 – Grievance Appeal:Opportunity for the aggrieved party to appeal the decision.
Upon conclusion of the proceedings, the Grievance Redressal Committee will issue an order with detailed reasons, providing appropriate relief to the affected party. In cases of false or frivolous complaints, the committee may take necessary action against the complainant.
By adhering to this process, Swathi College of Pharmacy ensures that grievances are addressed promptly, fairly, and effectively, fostering a just and equitable campus environment. All the students enrolled at Swathi college of Pharmacy have the right to appeal any general and academic matter in which they feel that they have been treated unfairly. The staff and students are notified to put their complaints about administration, accounts, finance, library, academics and hostels etc. in the suggestion/complaint boxes located in the main building, library and ladies hostels.
If any problem arises and is not resolved informally, students may file a grievance with the College Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) of the College. Any type of student complaint or problem may be presented to the Student Grievance Cell for official review.
